Background
David has 45 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The last 30 years have focussed specifically on LNG. Initially he was involved in LNG project development, marketing and strategy promoting new export projects and optimising existing projects. David was a co-founder of BP's LNG trading business, building the business from a few spot cargoes in 1999 to several million tons per annum over a few years. In 2006 David joined Vitol to establish the LNG desk and build the business. Over the next 11 years he grew the business into the world's largest independent LNG trader.
